Senior Power Electronics Engineer

This role takes full ownership of the company's power electronics products, from concept to development. The engineer will design high-voltage systems up to 1500VDC with future expansion to 3kV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design DC-DC converters, inverters, and copper busbars for electrified transportation
  • Lead design of both power and control boards incorporating high-power analog circuits
  • Oversee board layout, testing integration, and production activities
  • Drive rapid execution in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ years in power electronics design with proven product leadership
  • Expertise in high-voltage systems (800VDC+, preferably 1500VDC)
  • Proficiency in analog/power circuits and digital/control electronics
  • Knowledge of power topologies, thermal design, EMI/EMC principles
  • Experience with communication protocols relevant to high-power systems
  • Simulation tools expertise (LTspice, MATLAB, etc.)
  • Familiarity with international standards (IEC, UL)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Control theory background
  • EV, rail, or energy storage experience
  • SiC power electronics expertise
  • Product lifecycle ownership experience
