Senior Power Electronics Engineer

This role takes full ownership of the company's power electronics products, from concept to development. The engineer will design high-voltage systems up to 1500VDC with future expansion to 3kV.
Key Responsibilities
- Design DC-DC converters, inverters, and copper busbars for electrified transportation
- Lead design of both power and control boards incorporating high-power analog circuits
- Oversee board layout, testing integration, and production activities
- Drive rapid execution in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years in power electronics design with proven product leadership
- Expertise in high-voltage systems (800VDC+, preferably 1500VDC)
- Proficiency in analog/power circuits and digital/control electronics
- Knowledge of power topologies, thermal design, EMI/EMC principles
- Experience with communication protocols relevant to high-power systems
- Simulation tools expertise (LTspice, MATLAB, etc.)
- Familiarity with international standards (IEC, UL)
Preferred Qualifications
- Control theory background
- EV, rail, or energy storage experience
- SiC power electronics expertise
- Product lifecycle ownership experience
