This role involves installing and repairing pressurized piping systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems for railroad equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and repair pressurized piping systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems
• Interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings to plan system routing and specifications
• Perform field and shop work using pipefitting tools for cutting, bending, threading, and fabricating pipes
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on pipes, valves, and components
• Execute welding operations per trade standards
• Install new piping systems and upgrade existing equipment

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old at start date
• Ability to lift/carry up to 60 lbs without assistance
• Capable of working at elevated heights on locomotives
• Competent in reading technical drawings
• Reliable transportation to designated work location

Compensation: $35.00/hr
