This role supports locomotive manufacturing through equipment operation, diagnostics, and mechanical repair of railroad equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, precision machinery, hand tools, and material-handling equipment safely
• Communicate technical information through multiple channels
• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and enter data into computer systems
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for operational readiness
• Diagnose air-brake system malfunctions and mechanical issues
• Perform assembly, modification, inspection, and repair of railroad equipment per specifications

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old
• Reliable transportation to designated work location
• English proficiency (reading, writing, communication)
• Physical capability to lift 60 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights
• Color vision and sound recognition abilities
